Our Dogs
3 year old Boris is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He adores being with his people and is great with kids. He has plenty of dog friends and loves wrestling and chasing with them, but he struggles with leash reactivity. Boris has been living with multiple dogs of all sizes, male and female, in his foster home. He enjoys daily hikes through the forest and loves swimming.
Boris did not have a good first 2 years of life, and because of that he deals with anxiety/obsessive behaviours. He cannot be left outside in the yard to his own devices, or he will circle/tail chase. He has made improvements, but this is something that will never completely go away so does require management.
The ideal home for Boris is somewhere more rural where he will be an inside dog (of course supervised outside time is required), and won’t need to go on leashed walks where he will encounter a lot of other dogs.
Boris really just wants to be with his people. Someone that is retired or works from home would be amazing. Another dog friend would be great but it’s not a requirement. He is well behaved in the house and thinks he is a lap dog.
Boris has been with us for nearly a year and although he has his challenges and needs a particular type of home, we are still hopeful that his person is out there somewhere.
